Frequently Asked Questions *

What should I expect in therapy?

Therapy is a collaborative process. In our sessions, we’ll explore what’s on your mind, identify patterns or challenges, and work toward clarity, healing, and growth. You don’t need to come in with all the answers—just come as you are.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I am currently in-network with Cigna, Aetna and United Healthcare. I am in the process of becoming in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield . If I’m not yet in-network with your plan, you may still be able to use out-of-network benefits or pay privately.

What if I don’t have insurance?

No problem. Many clients choose to pay privately for sessions. My standard rate is $140 per 50-60 minute session.

Do I need to be a Christian to work with you?

No, you do not need to be a Christian to work with me. I welcome clients from all walks of life and diverse religious or spiritual backgrounds. While I offer faith integration for those who request it, I will never impose my beliefs. My goal is to create a safe, respectful space where you feel supported, heard, and free to be yourself.

Do you only offer virtual sessions?

Yes. All sessions are currently conducted virtually using a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. This allows for greater flexibility and accessibility while maintaining privacy and professionalism.

What is your therapeutic style?

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I show up as a real person in the room with you—honest, supportive, and focused on your goals. I blend evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and personality. For clients who desire it, I also offer faith integration, weaving Christian principles into our work together.

How would you describe a session?

A session is a space for you to show up exactly as you are—no pressure, no judgment. We talk through what’s on your mind, explore patterns or challenges, and build practical tools to help you move forward. Sometimes sessions feel reflective, sometimes focused on skill-building, and sometimes they’re just a needed pause in the middle of a busy life. The pace and focus are always guided by your needs and goals.
